Musevi

The MUSEVI (High Museum of Villahermosa), by the famous Mexican architect Enrique Norten, creator of such works as Clinton Park in New York and The Ivy in Monterrey, majestic symbol of modern architecture projects Villahermosa.

The Musevi (High Museum of Villahermosa) is a bridge built to celebrate the Bicentennial of the Independence of Mexico slope is located in the city of Villahermosa, Tabasco, located next to the Lagoon of Illusions and Tomas Garrido Park. It has a museum of regional artists and a cafe on the top of the bridge. It overlooks both sides of the pond. The Musevi crosses the avenue Paseo Tabasco which is a touristy part of town.

La Venta Park Museum

The park museum was named after the place where the sculptures were discovered. In 1951, Carlos Pellicer, the famous poet, succeeded in having them transferred to Villahermosa. He finally found the perfect place to house these monumental sculptures for the whole world to admire them: eight hectares of forest by the Illusions Lagoon.

La Venta Park Museum displays 36 monumental sculptures, among which we can mention the Jaguar Head, the Monkey watching the sky, the humanized jaguar, the great Altar, the Jaguar Mosaics, the King and the Colossal Head.
